James “LaTeek” Huggins was born and raised in the Bronx, NY. He has always had a passion for the arts but he particularly loved to dance. At the age of 2, he was imitating dances videos and concert to legends like Michael and Janet Jackson. However, he began his technical training at the age of 18. He received his Bachelor of the Arts from Buffalo State College where he majored in Arts and Letters with concentration in dance and music. James has travelled to Beijing, China and Guwahati, India to teach Contemporary Ballet and Jazz at Trinant Dance Academy where he had served as Interim-Artistic Director.
As an Artistic Director of his own dance group, “Teekvision” James’ goal is to have the world speechless after one of his visual performing artwork. The Visionaries of Teekvision and himself see beyond the now and into the future of our near success.
